I lived in Arizona long enough that I am comfortable with the shapes that define the southwest.  The large saguaro reminds of the landscapes that I grew to love.  Now in Texas, I enjoy the beautiful old live oaks and the many varieties of wildflowers.  Looking at this painting brings back happy memories.  I hope you like it.
