Art Shows

There is a little change of plans. Weather in February was such that we decided to have our East Meets West Show Opening in March. This show is at Franklin's in Georgetown, Texas. It is lovely and he wanted to keep it for another month, so you have another chance to come see an interesting art show with my Kimono Series and Pat Langley's beautiful Asian pieces. They sparkle among the jewels.

I will also be in a group show at Abbey's in Georgetown. This show will run through March. Abbey's is a beautiful store and has great walls for viewing art.

I will be in another group show in June in the Library in Georgetown. A Group Of Five is the name of that group, and includes some wonderful artists from Georgetown to Austin and towns in between. Sue Nosler Gray, Sue Wiley, Vicki Brevel, and Rae Andrews are the artists I will be showing with.

Looking Forward to Spring!!!

Feeling a little windblown, and thinking about the warmer weather that sometimes blows in to help produce those lovely colors of spring.

Special Effects

I am playing with special effects on one of my paintings. I like it better this way. Just having fun.

So GathersMemories

This painting is like a memory quilt for me; full of symbols that represent important facets of my life, both past and present.
I enjoyed thinking about visual messages that would say what is in my heart.
