Highways and Byways.  This painting makes me thinks of road trips.  My favorite way to travel is in the passenger seat of a car.  I love to stare out the window and take in the textures and colors that are flying by.  I like the rest stops, the short stays in hotels and the adventure of trying out a new restaurant.  This colorful painting is definitely a summer road trip because of all the greens and vibrant colors.  It is oil and acrylic on canvas and there is a glare from the camera, so it is more colorful than it appears here.
